A New Year, A Clearer Vision
The start of a new year always feels a little symbolic — like a quiet reset button. Not in a “new year, new me” kind of way, but more like a gentle pause to ask: Where do I want this next chapter to go?
This year, my goals feel less about doing more and more about doing what matters.
Where I’d Like to Take This Website
When I started this blog, it was simply a place to land — somewhere to write, reflect, and share honestly about starting over in my 40s. As I move into this new year, I can feel that vision expanding.
I’d love this space to grow into more than just posts. I want it to become a resource, a companion, and a place of encouragement for women navigating similar seasons.
Some ideas I’m excited to explore:
Books I write — personal, reflective, and honest stories about change, healing, and growth
A guided journal, something gentle and supportive, meant to help women process big transitions at their own pace
A 12-week guide to becoming single, focused on rebuilding confidence, routines, and self-trust after long-term relationships
These aren’t finished projects yet — just seeds. But they’re seeds I want to nurture this year.
Friendship in Your 40s
One topic I feel especially drawn to is making new friends in your 40s. It’s something we don’t talk about enough, and yet so many of us feel it.
Friendships change. Circles shift. Life looks different than it once did. I want to explore what it really means to build connection later in life — awkward moments, brave reaches, disappointments, and unexpected wins included.
If you’ve ever wondered why it feels harder — or how to even begin — you’re not alone. And this year, I want to create space for those conversations here.
Exploring Affiliate Partnerships (Slowly & Thoughtfully)
Another goal for this year is to begin exploring affiliate partnerships — thoughtfully and intentionally.
I’m interested in programs and products that support women in areas like:
Health and wellness
Personal growth
Relationships and friendships
Sexuality and confidence
Books, journals, and tools that genuinely add value
Nothing is set up yet, and I’m okay with that. My priority is trust — sharing things because they’re helpful, not just because they’re trending.
My Personal Health Matters Too
Alongside growing this space, one of my most important goals this year is focusing on my own health.
Not from a place of restriction or pressure — but from care. I want to feel stronger, more energized, and more at home in my body. That means building sustainable habits, moving in ways that feel good, and listening more closely to what I need.
This year, health isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency, compassion, and showing up for myself.
Looking Ahead
I don’t have every step mapped out — and I don’t think I need to. This year feels less about rigid plans and more about intention.
I want this blog to grow alongside me. I want it to reflect real life — evolving, imperfect, and meaningful.
And if you’re here, reading along, I hope you’ll walk this year with me.
Before you go:
What’s one goal — big or small — that feels important to you as this new year begins?
Until the next chapter—may your coffee be strong and your heart stay open, and you always lead with kindness
